In an electrician apprenticeship in the UK, apprentices will receive educational training to become an electrician. They will complete tasks such as electrical wiring, alignment adjustments, and calibration of equipment following manuals, schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and equipment specifications.
To become an apprentice electrician in the UK, you will typically need 2 or more GCSEs at grades 9 to 3 (A* to D) for a level 2 course, or 4 or 5 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C) for a level 3 course. For a T level, you will need 4 or 5 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C), including English and maths.
