To become a library assistant in the UK, there are no specific qualifications required. However, having administration skills, the ability to work well with others, attention to detail, customer service skills, knowledge of the English language, flexibility, sensitivity, and understanding are important qualities to possess. Some libraries may require a high school diploma or equivalent.
