To become an assistant underwriter in the UK, you will need relevant insurance experience, preferably within the European or London Market. You should also have good verbal and written communication skills, good MS Office skills (especially Excel), experience of working to varying and sometimes tight deadlines, the ability to work independently, and strong analytical skills.
